Proyalties

By creating an account or using Proyalties (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including beta participants.
The Service is currently in beta. Features, data formats, and functionality may change without notice. Beta access may be limited, suspended, or terminated at any time. We make no guarantees about uptime, feature availability, or the long-term retention of your data during the beta period.
The Service processes royalty statement files (CSV, TSV, and similar formats) that you upload from your Performing Rights Organisation (PRO). All data displayed — including totals, per-track amounts, period summaries, and network breakdowns — is derived entirely from the files you provide.
The Service makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any royalty figures, calculations, summaries, or analyses displayed. Figures shown are for informational and analytical purposes only and must not be used as the authoritative record of royalties owed or received. Always verify amounts directly with your PRO.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for financial loss, accounting errors, tax reporting inaccuracies, or any other damages arising from reliance on data displayed by the Service.
You retain ownership of all files and data you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, share, or use your royalty data for any purpose other than operating the Service.
You may delete all your data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and isolated per-user data storage. However, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or access your data.
In the event of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any breach, theft, or unauthorised disclosure of your data resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Proyalties and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or financial harm, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for use of the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of its operators. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology outside of what is necessary to use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for operational reasons. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
